REVELATION: A Study in Future History

Weird.  Deep.  Scary.  Confusing…
These are all descriptions of the Book of Revelation that I’ve heard recently.
The Book of Revelation should not be avoided just because you don’t understand it.
Like Jesus’ disciples, we wonder what is the future for this world.  What’s going to happen?  The Bible lays out a fascinating, engaging picture of exactly what’s going to happen.  At least 20% of God’s Word is prophecy.  The Second Coming is mentioned 318 times in the 260 chapters of the New Testament.
Obviously, this is not something to be ignored; God wants us to know about Christ’s return.

The  Chat Room

The Chat Room is a multi-generational group that studies the Bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse. Led by James Clary and Steve Babcock in the Fellowship Hall.

Summary of the Gospel of Luke: Luke gives an orderly account of the life, ministry, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. The Gospel presents Jesus as the compassionate Savior for all people, showing His mercy toward the poor, sinners, outsiders, and the lost. Luke highlights prayer, the work of the Holy Spirit, joy, forgiveness, and the good news of salvation as Jesus moves from His birth and public ministry toward Jerusalem, the cross, and the triumph of the resurrection.
